Q: Bill's current Rentacoder rating is 8.86, better than 98 % of his peers. With so many 10 ratings why is it 8.86?

Q: What are your programming rates, hourly?
A: Working from a home office my expenses are low. 30-40 dollars an hour, though I prefer to bid a fixed amount for a job.
 
Q: How do you charge for writing?
A: By the word. I get a minimum of 2 cents a word. 3 cents a word if there's a lot of research. Lowest number of words you can buy is 2400, as my agent takes 15% or $ 3, whichever is greater, so 24 bucks is the break point with 15 % being $ 3.60.
 
Q: How small a writing job will you take?
A: $ 24, Unless it's a test, to qualify for a larger job, then I'll bid on one article.
 
Q: What's your turnaround time?
A: I get 10 % extra for a rush job. That's anything under two days. Otherwise, I am usually available between immediately or at least within a week. I can work long days and hours with no problem so it's rare that I am not available if you really need something. I try to keep a fully booked schedule though. Plus, I work weekends,
